...Is no one going to talk about how they completely disregarded Angela and Charles Ashford from Resident Evil 2: Apocalypse? If I remember that movie correctly, didn't it blatantly say that Angela Ashford was the reason why the T-Virus was invented in the first place? Because it was meant to be a cure for her sickness or something. She was even carrying an entire bag of the anti-virus with her. Also, in the first film, the reason why the T-Virus escaped infected everyone in the Hive was because Spencer (Alice's husband at that time) broke one of the vials. The virus became airborne and the Red Queen killed everyone to prevent them from leaving the premises. Seems like in The Final Chapter, they made it seem like Umbrella planned the whole outbreak all along, when the first film very clearly tells us it had been an accident. Can someone explain these? My issue with The Final Chapter is that a lot of it doesn't connect with the important stories narrated in the older films.
