Colonel Reynolds and his group of government scientists continue their work on re-animating the dead for military use. His son Curt and his girlfriend Julie use Dad's security pass to sneak in and watch the proceedings. Later when father and son have a disagreement, Curt and Julie take off on a motorcycle and Julie is killed in an accident. Grief-stricken, Curt takes her body to the lab and brings her back to life. Curt must help Julie deal with her new existence as military agents and local gang members try to find them.

SPOILER ALERT!! I would have thought this movie was okay if it weren't for the stupid stereotypes with the grumpy Asian store clerk, the mean Latino gangbangers, and the crazy Black vagrant, those were just sad. And also if it weren't for the over the top zombie designs like the one vato Julie killed and the zombie out the barrel that had it's head fused to its shoulder, they felt kinda stupid and cheesy to me, like they were trying to hard. Even tho this part wasn't as funny and cheezy as the first 2 I feel like people judge this movie too harshly. I actually liked the fact that it had a more serious dark tone with some dark humor involved, to me it actually feels scary and disturbing. I never really liked this movie. I liked the first two Returns. I don't get why they switched the Trioxin. First two you had to get breath it in or get a lot on you to turn.
