« Shock Wave » est un très bon film d’action dont l’histoire se focalise sur une confrontation entre poseurs de bombes et spécialistes du déminage, avec une tension qui n’est pas sans rappeler « Démineurs » (2008) de Kathryn Bigelow. L’intrigue est correcte et les scènes d’action s’enchaînent dans un rythme soutenu. Les effets spéciaux sont sympathiques et l’ensemble de la distribution offre de bonnes prestations. Le développement du personnage central est bien articulé, la photographie est de qualité, tandis que la bande originale est discrète. L’ensemble est un très bon divertissement et on ne voit pas le temps passé. En outre, les fans d’Andy Lau seront comblés.
