You know what back in 1993 the same year as Jurassic Park & Cliffhanger came out they should add a film Director name Joe Johnston (the guy who made Honey I Shrunk The Kids (1989) and The Rocketeer (1991) not that bad film maker name Stuart Gillard but Director name Joe Johnston hired the Creature Effects name greg nicotero should made his add some outer characters from Ninja Turtles like Krang the evil brain but he will be voice by Mark Hamill even Rocksteady and Bebop will be voice by Jimmy Cummings and Frank Welker and The Stone Warriors will be voice by Dan Castellaneta but the Krang character Rocksteady and Bebop and The Stone Warriors will Be Creature effects by Greg Nicotero from K.N.B efx Group and the bean effects by Richard Edlund in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3 The Wrath Of Krang (1993) - @Tuesday, December 18, 2018 7:59 PM

Despite all of it's flaws, I really like this movie. Stuart Wilson made a pretty good bad guy, Donatello's first voice actor reprises his role, the scenery of what is depicted as feudal Japan is gorgeous, and there's a lot of personal growth in the turtles themselves. There's much more I like about it, but I could spend all day telling you about them. So yeah, I'm glad I'm not the only one on here who likes this film. After the bait and switch of the second film*, this one was at least a mild improvement. It primarily took its inspiration from the comics rather than the Fred Wolf animated series, which was a good call. Not that there's anything wrong with the cartoon--it's simply better for the movies to be an adaptation of the source material rather than an adaptation of an adaptation. It would have been even more satisfying if Renet herself had been included and not merely the time scepter, but it's better than nothing. Where this film fails is in the dialogue department, where the jokes and pop culture references fall flat. The movie also veers too much into slapstick (albeit not as bad as the second film with its "combat cold cuts") and even sticks in some unnecessary cartoon sound effects to tone down the violence of the action scenes. *They promised "The Secret of the Ooze" and didn't give us a single Utrom?! - @Friday, September 22, 2017 6:58 PM

You may think this movie sucks but the movie is actually pretty close to the comics. They are full of timetravel and sci-fi and new york isn't really such a big deal in the comics. Sure they live there, but a lot of their adventures is crazy transdimension sci-fi stuff. I don't know why everyone says this is the worst turtles movie just because of the setting.
