The first half of the movie was so slow but I enjoyed the second half. I don't know why the little girl died in the woods. It would seem not to take much intelligence for a little girl to stay alive overnight in that situation. It really made no sense why she would die in the water like that. I picked this one up on DVD on a whim, and was pleasantly surprised. A nice blend of drama, gothic spookiness, and familial bond. I liked that there were no big name stars -- you were able to then be pulled in by the story better, and the actors did an admirable job. Nice score for a small budget film, too.
