'What's in the mine?" "Nothing, there ain't nothing there." "Well, it must be much more cozy than our car where we can stay close together and warm until morning." Are you serious? They decided that instead of staying in their car, they would walk a ridiculously long distance, in the cold, into a mine where there's dirt, mice, and God knows what laying about. I could write a better horror story than that. Let's give it a shot. A bunch of college kids run out of gas at a gas station. They ask where they can stay for the night, but the locals only know of a mine, and they claim out of fear that nothing lies within it. So the college kids (being in college and retaining a decent level of knowledge) conclude it best to stay in their car, and attempt to do so. But something comes while they're all asleep and drags a friend of theirs out of the car, and they're forced to travel to the mines out of concern for their friend, realizing that help from the police will not come. I didn't even try, and came up with something better in less than 30 seconds. I swear, they need to start hiring new, younger writers with fresh ideas. - @Sunday, December 6, 2015 11:41 PM
