After the evacuation at Dunkirk, June 1940, some thousands of British prisoners are sent to German P.O.W. camps. One such group includes "Capt. Geoffrey Mitchell," a concentration-camp escapee who assumed the identity of a dead British officer. To avoid exposure, "Mitchell" must correspond with the dead man's estranged wife Celia. But eventual exposure seems certain, and the men must find a way to get him out. If he reaches England, though, what will his reception be?

You know the sad part is that this movie is being kept away from everyone. You can get on YT and find movies like Metropolis, Charlie Chan, and hundreds of silent flicks. But looking for movies with the quality of Captive Heart The James Mink Story, You will only get nothing. Nowhere on the internet can you find it streaming or uploaded to watch. The fact that there are 1000's of uploaded vids on the subject of slavery sais nothing of the quality of the vid nor does it attest to the compelling power of its production. Movies like this one are intentionally kept from being accessible. I am sure that they (who endear to keep it from even being known much more watched), Are angry that the movie even exist There is a concerted effort to keep movies of this level out of the public domain. Anyone who happens to get a copy or original print of this movie please upload it. I have a strong intuition that you will be FORCED to immediately remove it.
