Massie Block is the leader of a small group of privileged schoolgirls who arrogantly call themselves 'The Pretty Committee'. These so-called pre-teen 'mean girls' (cynical, egotistical, selfish and narcissistic females) and their clique are respected and feared in their middle school as well as their upper class Rhode Island suburban neighborhood. But Massie's life takes an unexpected turn when her parents friends, a lower-middle class family with a self-assured daughter named Claire move into the Block's guest house and Claire threatens to undermine the superficial Massie's position of the clique.

WHAT?! Alicia is sooo white, and she has small boobs. Massie doesn't have a slick brown bob, like it's described in the first book. Dylan...isn't she supposed to be really pretty and skinny? Kristen is good, but in the books she has blue eyes, not brown. Plus, this is like a low quality mean girls. Claire is okay, but looks a little young. Hey, she's not that unstylish. Their clothes aren't even stylish - purple tights? Green? This isn't "stylish, designer" clothing. The books were so much better. I liked the models on the front covers of the book better, because they fit the description of the characters. Also, their voices are really childish and high-pitched, not at all like I imagined - mean and confident. This movie is terrible, way worse than the Clique series.
