When his brother disappears, Robert Manning pays a visit to the remote country house he was last heard from. Does anyone know the name of an old horror movie from the 90's with some demonic tombtone with flashing green lights, and people that were inhaling this toxic or poisonous gas that, standing still like some freaking zombies, just inhaling that toxic smoke or gas, having their eyes turned over their heads..... that movie scarred me in the 90's a a little 6 year old..... i'm searching for 10 years now, but no clue.... must be one of those old forgotten horror movies, but i remember being awesome! - @Tuesday, April 16, 2013 11:31 PM

Even if 95% of movies made in the 21st century didn't suck a pile of shit, we would still be talking about weird classic horror like this!!! Guess what idiot film makers of today, you can make a movie WITHOUT using CGI...trust me, I've seen it done. - @Tuesday, July 31, 2012 2:46 AM

@The096757 -- Doesn't sound familiar. The only desert-based vampire movie I've seen is The Velvet Vampire (1971) - complete film can be seen on YouTube. Try emailing one of the many hard core horror fans with their own vampire-themed websites for more info. - @Monday, October 3, 2011 8:07 PM

@casestudyification -- Horror films in the 60s-70s often had title changes between the UK, US, and rest of Europe. The original UK title was Curse of the Crimson Altar, later shortened to The Crimson Altar. The US release was The Crimson Cult. Another example: the UK film Witchfinder General was released in the US as The Conqueror Worm because Poe-inspired horror films were popular then. - @Saturday, October 1, 2011 2:33 PM

I love this movie! The costumes are great! The acting is awesome and it features a few of my favorite actors (Boris Karloff ,Christopher Lee, Barbara Steele ).I like Mark Eden as well.Virginia Wetherell is beautiful! You would not believe how good the music score ( Peter Knight) in this movie sounds through a vacuum tube hiFi with big speakers! It is amazing! - @Friday, February 11, 2011 8:45 PM
