Hard to believe Alicia Silverstone was only 15 in "The Crush", she became an emancipated minor just so she could work on the set of this film without the restrictions of child labor laws. I remember watching this as a child in the 90's and being really scared n creeped out by Silverstone's character Darian in the film. However, now that I'm in my 20's I find her extremely irresistible, sexy, and so alluring like a dangerous siren. Silverstone was unreal in this movie, the best scenes were always the ones with her, she really steals every scene. I'm glad she was picked for this part, I really couldn't see anyone else playing this obsessive vixen. This movie is nothing without Silverstone's mesmerizing performance as crazy Darian, the girl a lot of men would tremble in the knees at if she give them that malevolent yet innocent looking smile of hers. - @Saturday, September 6, 2014 5:07 AM
