An absolute bromance of a film I'll never watch again. This was a poor excuse at recounting the life of a gifted writer. The aspiring writer for Rolling Stones deserved to be sent home after day 1. It was clear that Lipsky was trying his hardest to get into the mind of his idol, but failed to do so, as he lacked emotional IQ needed for this role. Halfway decent in his presentation, Lipsky appears unprepared for this interview almost 100% of the time. His interviewing approach is reprehensible and almost uninspiring through and through. The supporting cast is uninspiring and as cold as a winter's day in Minneapolis. This was not by any means an intelligent movie and its characters appear just as confused in their roles as a dog would be having been served a bowl of vegetables for dinner. As an actor, I would not have pursued either of these roles as I would have preferred to play these roles at a much older age. 1.9/5. - @Tuesday, August 28, 2018 6:37 PM
