The Fits is a psychological portrait of 11-year-old Toni-a tomboy assimilating to a tight-knit dance team in Cincinnati's West End. Enamored by the power and confidence of this strong community of girls, Toni eagerly absorbs routines, masters drills, and even pierces her own ears to fit in. When a mysterious outbreak of fainting spells plagues the team, Toni's desire for acceptance is twisted.

To all the people saying it was slow or boring or whatever, first off, the cinematography makes it worth it. But if you don't understand, It shows, not tells, and allows you to interpret what is happening for yourself. If you are used to and only enjoy summer blockbusters or superhero movies, you probably won't enjoy it. But in a broad sense, it shows that young and teenage girls, even way back to the days of theSalem Witch trials to today's 'pregnancy' or 'suicide' pacts, will often have coordinating hysterics of baffling behavior...or 'fits' to 'fit' in. - @Sunday, October 15, 2017 6:51 AM

la pelicula en realidad no se trata de toni, si no de el grupo de bailarinas. If you're a lover of cinematography, you will enjoy this film. The story is told more by show than tell, which is one thing I absolutely loved about it. Just saw it today, and it's quite good. Not a movie for everyone as it takes its time for events to unfold. And, unfortunately, the trailer makes it seem like non-stop action, and that's not the case. I saw it only knowing it was about a girl who's training as a boxer who then moves toward dancing. The camera moves through the film in a compelling way; I wanted to stay with it to see where it was going. And the young star was captivating. The story goes to a kind of funny place - beyond the changes the main character goes through.
