"You're not crazy. The world is crazy." God I love this movie. Its like a sanity/insanity check against all the self righteous, judgmental "normal" people of the world. I'm glad at least some out there understand people like us - its just our luck that it happens to be talented, awesome filmmakers :-) Makes me wonder if I missed my calling and I should have gone into acting. Or at least something in the art/creative world (God knows I couldn't hack it in the corporate 9-5 business world). I consider myself an empath and don't most actors have an evolved degree of empathy and compassion? I know I've always felt empathy toward those who are "different", misfits, etc. Never realized it was such a rare thing until I came online and witnessed all the Social Darwinism, hostility, and intolerance toward those of us square pegs who don't fit in - ouch :-/ But yeah, all the wonderful quotes are coming back to me now that I've finally posted here (sorry for "spamming" - didn't plan to, just really passionate about the film!), over a year after watching lol No, cynics, simmer down...I didn't work on the thing. I wish! Seriously need to rewatch that thing :-) I've even considered changing my Youtube name to The Giant Mechanical Man. Since I'm trying to do with my Channel kinda the same thing he was trying to do. Or I'd like to think so, anyway. Helping people who feel a little "different" from the herd feel less alone. If a Youtube name can even be changed. But no, I'm not obsessed with this movie (brain working overtime...online too long...seriously need sleep and/or nourishment...stat!) ;-) - @Thursday, March 31, 2016 8:27 AM

Whether you'll like this movie or not probably depends on how you feel about that quote from the film. If you're like me and would give anything for someone to say that to you, and if they did, you'd take it as the highest compliment - chances are you'll love the movie and relate to the 2 main characters tremendously. If you think the above quote is "pretentious", you might want to give this film a pass. However, I really can't recommend this little indie "dramedy" gem enough. - @Thursday, March 31, 2016 7:18 AM

I personally liked the movie. It was so real. I don't know if it's because I can really identify with the two main roles or because I just like it. It's a weird movie if I'm honest but that's what makes it special. I say that if you have no idea what to do with your life this movie will give you hope. And even though it is strange, I enjoyed it.
