The uneasy balance between these worlds is shattered when Starr witnesses the fatal shooting of her childhood best friend Khalil at the hands of a police officer. the dark-skinned mother of my friends boyfriend was shot by a white police officer two weeks ago! there is no article and no process because she was the only one in the car! it happened in New York and I really don’t know how dark-skinned people should trust the police if they are shooting them for no reason at all. she just drove with no light and then the officer stopped her. according to him, she moved fast but that is NO REASON to shoot someone!! i hope these people will learn that WE ARE ALL HUMAN! I'm a black male and I don't plan on watching this movie, creating a movie trying to get this racist society and the hate they have for black men, the envy they have for us, is useless. Action is needed. My life shouldn't be made a movie for, "entertainment". I haven't had problems with MOST cops simply but maybe one, because I will not allow myself to live around a place that is 50%+ black but yet 99% of the cops are white, I will only live in a place that has non-white (and enough black cops), that way I don't have to worry about being pulled over while black, or racial profiled by these cowards. The only solution is to give black men who are trying to proceed with their life guns and trainings to kill a police officer in case of self defense. Creating movies isn't doing nothing. White cops will continue to be cowards until their forced to think twice, just like a criminal will continue to break the law if they only get a tap on the wrist when they steal or kill someone like cops do, black men need to take care of these cops and get rid of them and get them off the streets for good, if this was the case, this man still be a live. - @Friday, November 23, 2018 7:37 PM
