Wow, that part : "This is human, this is man.".... those brutes with their noble speech looked as if they went on cambrige university. Andrew Braddock? It's Edward Prendick, it's not Moreau who nurses him to health it's Montgomery, and there are no other people than those 3. Also, Prendick never was held by Moreau and it wasn't humans to beasts, but animals to human/beasts. I've read the book for god sake! - @Thursday, October 15, 2015 12:22 AM

I liked Island of Lost Souls, it came on TCM one time and wound up enjoying it. I will admit it was closer to the book. But in the end, I really enjoyed it. Probably my favorite adaption of the book, even though this movie didn't follow the book exactly, it was exciting, horrifying, and featured some great make-up effects.
