What a terrible trailer. It gave away way too much of the surprises in the movie. I remember watching this on the opening week in the cinemas believing it was a serious kung fu movie a la Bruce Lee style. Instead it was a fantastic mix of martial arts, comedy, romance, music and more. Me and my mates went back next day to watch it again and then following day for a third viewing. Fast forward 30years and I got hold of a copy and thought I'd do a nostalgic trip to the 80's and although some aspects of the movie have aged horribly, I still thoroughly enjoyed it and have watched it a couple of times the last few years. - @Saturday, June 30, 2018 3:44 AM

awesome underrated movie from my childhood a favourite of mine, me and my young bro used to rent this movie at the video shop all the time, we wore that fucking tape out, good news is i found the vhs tape last week i am reunited with this magic movie. taimak is a legend as bruce lee roy taking on badies along the way kicking ass, has to fight sho nuff played magic by jullius j carry love this baddie his lines in this film mega cool, love vanity as laura charles such a hottie for the 80's wow. the rest of the cast are magic, the fights are bloody good. and this was done by motown this film pulled off something magic and should of been a massive hit. awesome story, the acting is the nuts, some great comedy moments too, and good drama scenes, awesome soundtrack. as a whole this film is a 10 out of 10 for me i love this film so much, why aint there more films like this. and in my top 3 best ever childhood movies. still love watching this film to this day. - @Saturday, July 5, 2014 6:41 PM
