The sixteen year-old aspiring model Jesse arrives in Los Angeles expecting to be a successful model. The aspirant photographer Dean takes photos for her portfolio and dates her. Jesse befriends the lesbian makeup artist Ruby and then the envious models Gigi and Sarah in a party. Meanwhile, the agency considers Jesse beautiful with a "thing" that makes her different and she is sent to the professional photographer Jack. Jesse attracts the attention of the industry and experiences a successful beginning of her career. Ruby, Gigi and Sarah, however, will do whatever is necessary to get this "thing" for themselves.

Well recently saw the movie. It's good and I think it's somewhat twisted which is good. I think that some of the people would understand the meaning behind this movie. I was skeptical about this movie, whether to watch it or not but believe me it's just a artistic masterpiece. Visual effects as well as the main storyline is connected and presented but in such a way that it's hard to understand. But I like these kinds of movie so I understood the meaning and the weird thing and human behavior. Those insecurities that lies in the fashion and model industries. Very disappointing. While the movie is beautifully made and intriguing, it is nothing like the trailer suggests. Little red riding hood gets literally eaten by her enemies at the end. Visually, it's a very good movie but that isn't enough to make it an actually good movie. The way plot and dialogue goes is boring and dull instead of creepy and sophisticated (probably what they were going for) and you don't have any sympathy for the characters as the movie goes cause it portrays them and their character so so badly but again it's a 'pretty' movie so seeing it once won't hurt - @Saturday, July 21, 2018 8:10 AM

This movie was really good: It visually reflects its core message: that the model industry is pretty on the outside, but behind that empty shell, there is nothing, a vastness, a space, a loss. that loss is the the loss of "natural beauty" the main character has, whether the other girls don't have it. And so the movie has also not much to offer besides the nice visuals, as the plot is very basic... but at the very time reflects its theme stylistically so well! it is not the story or the characteres that do the talking... it is the movie itself. - @Friday, July 13, 2018 7:28 PM
