Peter Devereaux is a former CIA agent who is asked by the man he worked for to extract a woman who is in Russia and is presently close to a man running for President, who is believed to have committed crimes during the Chechen war. She can give them the name of someone who can prove it. His friend says that she will only come to him. So he goes and she gets the info and tries to get out but the man finds out and tries to stop her.

Pay no heed to the plethora of dimwits, who can't distinguish as much as differentiate their ass from their elbow, what constitutes a quality movie, how this got such low ratings is beyond me other than the explanation I just gave, Great cast, great acting, great plot, great action, keeps you guessing, good twists, layered story arc with complex multi layered conflicting character motivations, commentary on conspiracy among governments and war crimes, its got it all, on par with a bourne movie if not better, good to see Pierce back in action and he kicks ass with aplomb, he is like the antibond, not the over the top action ladies man, he says to his Co agent in training who after kisses a girl, "If you want a relationship, get a dog" ...
