In 2006 the UK Minster of Defence announced the deployment of British Troops to Helmand Province, Afghanistan, saying: 'We would be happy to leave Afghanistan without firing a single shot'. 'The Patrol' features a British Army Operational Mentor and Liaison Team supporting this NATO led operation. As the scale of the Taliban insurgency dawns on the soldiers, problems with their operation cause the men to question their role in the war.

The title of this film says it all. THE PATROL. The dumbest outcome of the leftist controlled and contrived military actions of the last 100 years. Only morons would "patrol" in nations NOT completely occupied. Meaning, you patrol in the process of this end game. You do NOT patrol AS AN END GAME. When is our military going to realize that they are being MURDERED by their own globalist government. We have been doing this crap since Korea and all it achieves is DEATH. Not the enemies, but OUR deaths. This is planned. Not only did it achieve OUR deaths but from Korea, Vietnam, Iraq etc. etc it paints a target on the forehead of those in the civilian population. From Communist recrimination against the ordinary folk of SE Asia to the Taliban rape, dis-figuration and murder of those that come in contact with these "patrols". This has been a ploy by the LEFT within our governments to KILL us. When are you in the military going to learn that. Don't give me this crap of force multipliers. The US Special Forces love to tout this myth and its effectiveness. History tells us it DOES NOT WORK. For example how many movies are there on the murder of those who multiplied forces in Vietnam and when the US pissed off were left to face the Viet Cong???? Or those used as Force multipliers in Iraq who were murdered when the US pissed off ???? You either invade in force, KILL THE ENEMY IN THEIR ENTIRETY or dont bother.
