The remake comes no where close to the original. Zero & Gene were like Laurel & Hardy. Lane & Broderick had no real chemistry. Plus the fact that Mel was really 'hungry' when he made it in '68. If Zero Mostel, who plays Max in this movie, hadn't died before 1986, I think he would have been a great choice for Mushnik in Frank Oz's Little shop of horrors. But he died in I think 1977 so he couldn't have been in consideration. - @Wednesday, December 8, 2010 4:31 AM
