In London in the 1970s, Scotland Yard police investigators think they have uncovered a case of vampirism. They call in an expert vampire researcher named Professor Lorrimer Van Helsing (a descendant of the great vampire-hunter Dr. Abraham Van Helsing) to help them put a stop to these hideous crimes. It becomes apparent that the culprit is Count Dracula, disguised as a reclusive property developer, but secretly plotting to unleash a fatal virus upon the world.

This one started out with a strangely interesting plot but ended up being much too cheesy for my liking, although it's still alright, it doesn't compare to "Horror of Dracula" and "Dracula Prince of Darkness" Even the much resented "Scars of Dracula" is much more enjoyable in my opinion. - @Saturday, July 15, 2017 11:34 AM

for anyone looking to purchase this film, if you go onto amazon, type in the satanic rites of dracula and it should come up with a region 2 dvd. it is in Spanish, but on the dvd you have two language choices Spanish or English. ordered mine the other day and it arrived two days later. would really recommend the Spanish dvd copy. - @Tuesday, February 16, 2016 8:01 PM

Well that truly is a shame. Di you plan to release Dracula A.D. 1972, on blu ray? If so, as I'm sure others will agree, put lots of extras on the disc, such as the history of making the film, surviving cast member interviews and such. I know I'm a bit cheeky! ; ) - @Monday, April 29, 2013 11:46 AM
