Charles has purchased a vintage RV with the hopes of taking his family on a road trip to reconcile with his two sons, a promise he made to his wife before she recently passed. His oldest son, Steve, his wife Jennifer (Denise Richards), their daughter and family dog, are excited for the excursion, however, his youngest son Jay is less than enthusiastic. Along the way, the family picks up Samantha (Mischa Barton) and her brother, broken down on the side of the highway. Before they get them to a service station in the next town, however, Charles insists on taking a detour into the desert to visit a landmark and they soon get lost. Now stranded in the desert, the unsuspecting group is blindsided by the terrible secrets they discover within the walls of the RV and find themselves in the fight of their lives.

My iTunes review of it: I watched this for Mischa and Denise. I remember the days of The OC when Mischa was one of the most popular actresses in existence. Back then she would have laughed at this script. My how the mighty have fallen. I’d love to see her make a comeback but this will not be the kickstarter for it. The premise of this movie was so silly to begin with. A haunted RV? I mean, seriously? And it played out just as silly as its premise. I honestly can’t believe it was even made. I went into it hoping to be pleasantly surprised since other reviewers were saying it was good but that definitely didn’t happen and to the guy who said this movie renews his faith in the horror genre- you need to get your head examined. That sentence scares me more than this movie did. If this disaster renewed your faith, you need to expand your library. And possible think about a lobotomy. Terrible movie from start to finish. At least 2 “serious” scenes were completely laughable (Denise looking/waving out the window as she’s being strangled and the old man running from the RV gone wild).
