The Tracy family in secret? How often do the people call Scott Mr Tracy in the episodes? They should have used code names. Brains went out into the world using his own name too in the episode Alias Mr Hackenbacker and Lady P is hardly in stealth mode. - @Tuesday, August 30, 2016 9:11 PM

Had the chance to actually meet and talk with Charles (Bud) Tingwell at a special screening of this movie at the Astor Cinema in Australia. He was in the TV series as well providing voices for the show. - @Thursday, September 27, 2012 1:36 PM

I think this movie could have had a better story line, a bit more focus on the thunderbird machine, but still it was good :) - @Tuesday, May 24, 2011 3:23 PM

@Spagettieater9000 that's kind of extreme. - @Friday, May 20, 2011 8:13 PM

I saw this when I was 8 and am still think it is fantastic 41 years later.I have seen the modern remake and all I can say is that even International Rescue couldn't save that movie. - @Sunday, January 23, 2011 2:02 AM

It's a little hard to tell but it looks as though they finally had the budget to remove that lemon squeezer from Thunderbird One's launch bay. - @Wednesday, November 3, 2010 9:40 PM

@Standardfrank I'm sure a talented director and screenwriter could have made a good movie. I watched the film in complete horror - but had to give a little credit to the actors who played Lady Penelope and Parker. At least they tried. I'll have to have a think about a Director..... - @Sunday, September 5, 2010 2:28 PM

@Standardfrank That movie was ruined because of a poor concept. I think the only way it could have would have been to appeal to past fans while being clever enough that contempory audiences could appreciate it. My idea would have been to have the original machines (as per the 1960 idealised view of the future) appear in the 21st century to rescue a world that has become over reliant on computers and can't cope with a real emergency. And yes they would be fined for noise and pollution. - @Sunday, September 5, 2010 1:58 PM

@AlbinoCaterpillar agree 100% - the era from the 50s - 70s was the cultural high point of the 20th Century...possibly of all time! - @Sunday, February 14, 2010 4:56 AM

Dieselx08 (6 months ago)"WOW!! The sixties were cheesey as hell!!..." No Dieselx08...NOW is as cheesey as hell...it's just that you're in the middle of it, so you can't see it. Look back at today in 20 years time and I guarantee you will cringe with embarrassment at how cheesey it all is. Culturally, the 60's RULE!!! :-) - @Friday, April 24, 2009 2:21 PM

Penelope's car flying in space was a dream sequence. One of the boys was dreaming he was on a date with her (I think it was Virgil, the boy who always got stuck up in space). They flew to a nightclub in space and had champagne I think, LOL. - @Saturday, April 19, 2008 4:07 PM
