Having just viewed the full movie on my PC, it has its moments, but not enough of them, in its overly long 2hrs.19 mins. It intrigued me for quite a while, but when it finished it left me with that feeling you get of why did I bother watching this/ I just wasted 2hrs plus of my life/what the hell have I just watched? Okay so I just finished this movie and overall found it be great. It feels like Mulholland Drive directed by Terrence Malick with references to inherent vice.. lol I know that's a lot to take in. I have seen it in sneak preview last week. Never have I been more glad that a movie was finally over. 139 minutes of weirdness mixed with way too much sextalk. It felt like one of these movies that try to be oh so sophisticated and intelligent but fail big time. I waited until the end hoping there would at least be some reason for it’s weirdness that would give it some sense or at least meaning but no. It’s just that bad. This Neo film noir genre might be interesting to explore as a regisseur (and everyone else who works on and off set) but the script was just aweful.
