This was an awesome film. It was intense and a heck of a ride. I was at the edge of my seat. Claire Foy was excellent as the main character and Jay Pharoah was attractive as the friend. The whole cast was awesome and the plot and script and everything. I would own this movie on dvd. The reason why is because I know from experience from being in the mental facility/psych ward. I wanted to leave the mental hospital but couldn't. So I felt her characters anger and could relate to her wanting to get out. But I am glad tho for the experience of being in a mental facility..it has it's good and bad about it tho. Like the pills messed me up big time and I was getting side effects from it. Also what they said in the movie...about suicide, u shouldn't use the word suicide so lightly or if they ask u are u a harm to yourself or others and if u say yes ..they can keep u on hold and put u in a mental hospital for it. That's what happen to me. I've been in the mental facility 5 times in the last year of 2017 for my schizophrenia (mental illness). There's alot of crazy colorful people in there. But I don't regret my experience. This film is very much an attempt at discrediting and mocking people being affected by gangstalking, AKA "targeted individuals." People who go through this experience constant harassment wherever they go (a lot of people unknowingly get injected with a microchip, thus commencing the constant harassment) which is how they track TI's. It very commonly starts with a smear campaign against your name so your reputation gets tarnished and you will not be taken seriously if you speak up about it, and a lot of the time if you do speak up about it or you express ANY suicidal ideation due to the constant, relentless harassment by your community and the police, you'll be labeled crazy and will be involuntarily committed, which has happened to me and countless other targeted individuals. A lot of the abuse and set ups she experiences in the film absolutely happens when you are admitted as a TI. These psychopathic abusers will follow you in there and get in your face and crowd around you to try to provoke a reaction out of you, thus prolonging your stay and the abuse you experience in these places. There's so much propaganda and disinformation (e.g. both VICE documentaries on the subject, this film) if you try searching up the subject that any average person unaware of what this is really is would just write it off as plain old schizophrenia or mental illness. The fact of the matter is this system is designed to mirror the symptoms of schizophrenia, which the Stasi (secret police) of East Germany laid the blueprint for as well as the KGB (sluggish schizophrenia), and of course in our modern age our government has access to very sophisticated technology used to track and harass victims making it extremely easy to pull this off. And the people involved in this crime against humanity (perps, as TI's call them) are backed up by the government, which is why these psychopaths pretty much get off scot free. - @Saturday, September 1, 2018 7:11 AM
