I saw it. Pretty much follows the story in this trailer. It's an amusing and overwrought yarn I have experienced before. The less dramatic moments are true to my life: A combination of one gallerist with whom I interacted, a coupl'a whacked out artists, a former girlfriend who was a schitzo, and the "Picture of Dorian Gray." Just finished watching it. Hated it so much!! Felt boring, not even a horror, more of a thriller. Such great talents are wasted and Dan Gilroy has dropped even lower as a director. If you want a great movie with great acting, suspense, has Jake and Rene and is written and directed by Dan, watch Nightcrawler. Night crawler is an amazing wonderful thrilling movie that I can rewatch over and over again because of how great it was. This movie is just plain crap!! Don't waste your time!! Sadly, worlds apart from Nightcrawler. Both shallow and scattered, dialogue like marbles in actors mouths, wasted plot, movie can't decide what it wants to be and in the end is neither a dark comedy, horror movie or quirky drama, just a series of events without direction.
