okay so for the past 3 weeks i have been watching the entire 7 seasons of true blood, just because of Alexander Skarsgard at first, but then i grew to love the entire cast and show. I came across this movie while watching his past interviews and decided to watch it today just because of him, and whoa am i glad i watched it because i fell in love with Alexander's fatherly-side - i mean his natural ability, not his acting ability - that is really one of the highlights of this film. I always have mixed feelings about amazing performances by children. On one hand, it's awesome for the obvious reasons; on the the other hand, the kids' talents put them into an exceedingly precarious situation. The statistical odds that she'll make it to adulthood with anything resembling a functional, healthy life become significantly reduced the moment she enters the good graces of Hollywood.
