Three friends, whose lives have been drifting apart, reunite for the funeral of a fourth childhood friend. When looking through their childhood belongings, they discover a trunk which contained details on a quest their friend was attempting. It revealed that he was hot on the trail of the $200,000 that went missing with airplane hijacker D.B. Cooper in 1971. They decide to continue his journey, but do not understand the dangers they will soon encounter.

This movie taught me 3 things: 1. The intro song to the movie is "Ooh La La" by The Faces 2. A bear does shit in the woods. 3. What a downstairs is. No it's not a crazy amazing film with some epic story line, it's simply a feel-good film. Did anyone else notice that this film is kind of like a sequel to Stand By Me (1986)? Think about it: Four childhood friends, they have a tree house, one of them dies, they go on a trip to find a dead body (or in this case treasure) with the intention of becoming rich and famous, the thugs, the leader (Jerry vs Gordie), the coward (Dan vs Vern) and the arrogant one (Tom vs Teddy).
