After watching this, it is kind of a so bad it's good movie. Well, scratch the good, turn that into semi-funny. The movie captures the goofball character that people call low-brow and unsophisticated so they can be considered "mature" perfectly. Buuut the plot is.....meh. It's your generic "I need a family" plot, the main character is alone, he meets other characters, then a family emerges. Animation, also meh. Woody's texture looks good but the animation is to stiff. The characters are nicely done (btw while writing this I realized the father, Lance Walters is actually a pun and reverse of the creator of Woody Woodpecker as a character), they're funny at times and relatable, again, at times. At this point I'm completely just tired be of this. As a ten year old myself this is getting freaking annoying. If they wanted to make funny characters and use the old legends this is my idea: Why not make a Movie with all of the character like Bugs bunny, Road runner, Tom and Jerry, Woody pecker come to a sort of convention of their characters but it's not about them. Maybe it should be a whole new rookies who haven't been seen and have to train to get on the TV spot like they can teach them how they do. But of course that's never gonna happen!!!
