Directed by four women! And yet the doctor is still a man as in all movies you see, not a woman (and for all of his 'brilliant man intelligence' a bunch of medical things were wrong in the film - but I'm just a dumb female doctor, so don't ask me! Ask a smart man, right, they're just so brilliant, swoon!) And at dinner there's still a man at the head of the table who makes the important family decisions while the woman takes second seat, and talks in your usual soft, breathy voice they always make actresses talk in... But oh! so feminist! The husband and wife BOTH make the children's food instead of just the mother doing it! Wow! You'd think that they might have it be just the dad who cooks for a change, considering that in pretty much 100% of all other movies/shows it's ONLY the mother who makes it... but I guess they can't get their head around having a single movie that reverses that old stereotype, in the face of countless others that don't (in my family my dad always cooked, never my mom... so it wouldn't be inconceivable considering NO OTHER MOVIE OR SHOW ever depicts that)... and the best they could do is have them 'share' the duty. Still, the guy makes all the important decisions! And the best part, as usual, as in 99% of all horror/suspense movies, it's "sexy young women" who are being butchered/tortured/tormented while half naked, never men. Fuck you. I so can't stand it when it's women who destroy things for womankind. And of course, the obligatory lesbians, because wow, that's so rare in movies, that's totally not something that three quarters of all movies do in order to fetishize lesbians so that male audiences can fap. Funny how "supporting women" has to translate to "supporting women on an intimate, romantic, sexual level"-- you know, because men have never viewed women as something that can only be interacted with through the intimate, sexual, and romantic, where the interaction must of necessity invade women's personal space. Funny how men never felt the need to fuck other men in order to support them, but somehow in order to support women, other women have to fuck them/interact with them romantically-- because you can't interact with/support a woman unless you do so through her most intimate physical parts, right? So revolutionary! So feminist! They really did it so differently than loads of chauvinistic men did when they made films! Oh but I guess the fact that four women directed this is portrayed by the fact that the title has a lipstick kiss! Wow! So feminist! So empowered! People complaining about the movie? Why? The stop motion mini film throughout the film was great, Don't Fall had a legit monster that was actually really scary/gory. Sure nothing was "truly" explained throughout films but it's a good watch. Biggest garbage movie. All these comments about how great the trailer is.... I fell for the the trap too. A good trailer that didn't share much--unlike most other trailers these days that show too much. Seems to me to be a movie made for liberals by liberals. This nonsense about trying to push feminine roles down our throats. Hyping up how "great" these directors are simply because they are women. Well, in this case, these directors were garbage. I generally love horror anthology's but just having watched this I must say this is by far the worst I've ever seen! Stories are all opened-ended and make very little sense because it's artistic I guess? Total waste of time!
