I mean you wanna go the "spoof" route, maybe have a plot that's a bit more Stephen King-ish, perhaps a gypsy puts a curse on the author, but messes up the spell and instead it gets unleashed on another guy, unfortunately named "Stephen King." That's you catalyst introducing elements of King's works to spoof. Possessed cars, killer clowns, fantastical creatures, whatever you want. This looks truly awful and the worse kind of horror-comedy. I like how insistant they are in trying to convince us that, yes "we know it's bad, but isn't the fact it's so bad funny?" And it's not, not in the least. This is one of those movies where it looks like the cast and crew didn't have enough talent to do a good comedy so they settled on doing a cheap spoof.
