this was absolutely terrible, John Gulager should be ashamed of himself. Zombie films are pretty "tongue in cheek" anyway but come on, a blind woman that needs a lantern to navigate her own basement? It was so cornball that I expected Matthew Broderick to save the day! "Ferris Bueller you're my hero". I understand that they had an emergency crew on standby in case Daryl Hannahs collegen treatment went critical and her lips exploded.
