Friday night - Curry pot noodle and July 22. watching glitzy dramatised footage of children being massacred. nice cinematography, i like seeing the kids falling to the floor screaming as Brevik picks them off, from an emotive variety of camera angles - keeps it interesting. good directing. They should do 9/11 too, with Bin Laden played by Tom Hiddleston. Or maybe make a series, or several - there's no shortage of atrocities being commited around the world. Lord knows why, it's not like we give terrorists our undivded attention. I might have chicken and mushroom next week and watch the Paris massacre too. 7/10 - @Sunday, November 11, 2018 10:04 AM

Spoilers: As an Iraqi, I'm so sorry for what happened in Norway, I've never heard about this Incident before seeing this Incredibly sad and Emotional movie yesterday, I can tell you that I'm used to Terrorist attacks everyday or so either a Terrorist Attack happens or someone gets kidnapped, But when I saw this movie, I literally Cried and cried and I just cried, not Once but 4 times!, Once was when Anders killed the Teacher and the Security Guy on the Island, and Another time when the Kids started running towards the woods and Svein's brother got Shot 5 times and Asked his brother to Leave him 😥, the one before the last was the most Emotionally moving for me... When Svein Tried to Run away and Suicide because he couldn't live a life like that, not being able to walk properly, Blind In one eye and Having a disfigured body 😔. The Last one were just tears of pure joy, when he confronted that Degenerate and Showed him how much stronger he has become and how much more determined he was... And the the disappointment in Anders' eyes were all the more joyous for me. But in all defense, I think it is Okay that it is in English, this could go out as something people that isn't from Norway can learn from. I saw it. I wished it was in Norwegian but hey. It was heart wrenching and compelling. It honestly had me in tears. I'm from the UK but my girlfriend of the time was Norwegian and her mother was promoting a book a street across at the moment of the bomb. In that moment she was in complete panic. Censorship is not the answer. It happened. In fact I believe censorship plays into the hands of fascists and that is one of the underlying factors behind the attack. The important thing this movie conveyed at the end is that Breivik was left isolated and alone by his mother and even the Alt Right. This movie provokes a conversation nobody likes to have, but an absence of dialogue is a breeding ground for violence. Freedom of speech, democracy and rule of law. As a Norwegian. Breivik was a narsissist gone mad. One of his statemets was "Finally you see me". Like in , that he desperatly wanted peoples attention and he murded allot of teens in order get it. He got his wish. So much attention. He should just had his trail, and been thrown in jail without all the media fuss. And I wonder if he played the media, I think he looked like a extreme-rightwing on purpose to maximise the attention from the media, knowing it was politically correct then for the media to give him attention. If you wanted to maximise the amount of attention looking like an extreme right, murdering the teens of the left on a political summer camp, is probably the way to go. I can totally understand the complaints made by many Norwegians here. When I watched the movie I thought it was really weird that they had to speak in broken English. But honestly speaking I think the movie’s aim was to inform a wider audience of the tragedy. I for one had never heard of it and I was horrified by the extent of it. I actually started crying by the end. Many people are still not aware of this tragedy and I think their intention wasn’t to insult Norwegians but to inform people of an event that utterly changed a country and more people should know about it.
