The first Cylon war has been raging for 10 years and a young Ensign William Adama joins the fleet. He's disappointed not to be assigned to a fighter but to a freighter. His co-pilot, Lt. Coker Fasjovic, isn't too keen on having a rookie flying his aircraft as he has only a short time before he again becomes a civilian. Their cargo is a civilian scientist, Dr. Becca Kelly, but they no sooner leave than she has new orders for them and a new destination. She is less than forthcoming about just what her secret mission is but Adama is keen, particularly as it involves going into Cylon controlled space. Nothing is as it seems however.

Nope, they just say it for some reason. They did it with the TV series too, there would be an extra 4 minutes of footage which were usually random pieces of regular dialogue cut from the middle of a scene, or the camera would focus on a shot for an extra few seconds. Have you seen the work of Paul Greengrass? (The bourne trilogy part 2 & 3). The shaky camara helps the audience to actually BE inside the movie. It's a very popular movie making technique. On the other hand, this work as well as JJ Abrams Star trek are excellent examples of the proper way to use the lens flare effect in your benefit. I mean, hell, even Mass Effect got it. The original B star came out 78-79 right after Star Wars. The same people that did the effects, ships, etc. on Star Wars did B Star. Hence the major similarities. This trailer is NOT GOOD.
