In Japan, the vampire-hunter Saya, who is a powerful original, is sent by her liaison with the government, David, posed as a teenage student to the Yokota High School on the eve of Halloween to hunt down vampires. Saya asks David to give a new katana to her. Soon she saves the school nurse Makiho Amano from two vampires disguised of classmates and Makiho witnesses her fight against the powerful demons.

The live action of Blood the last Vampire was utterly terrible. The original is simply a masterpiece. Although, I find it hard to relate to Saya in this one because, she isn't that light-hearted girl I knew in Blood plus. Blood + is only good if you haven't seen this and you prefer cliched paint by numbers anime plot with a tacky love story tacted in on both sides. That show was a POOR representation of the Blood franchise. I'm glad Blood C fixed some of those problems and didn't draw out longer than it needed to be. Blood + was boring and frankly carried on WAAY too long. The characters were uninteresting and lack personality.
