Alice and Darlene, best friends, decide to take a trip to Thailand to celebrate high-school graduation. While there, they are befriended by charming Australian rogue Nick Parks. Nick convinces them to take a weekend side trip to Hong Kong, but at the airport, they are busted for smuggling drugs. They are convicted in a show trial and sentenced to 33 years; in desperation, they contact Yankee Hank, an American lawyer based in Thailand who has been reported to be helpful if you've got the cash.

A stupid, childish and asinine movie directed entirely towards college age, liberal feminists who haven't the slightest idea how privileged they really are; any American citizen convicted of drug smuggling has their sentence automatically commuted after a maximum of 8 years, (even if they plead not guilty and receive the death penalty). As far as the plot is concerned, "Alice" and "Darlene" could've gone to Thailand with an average looking guy from the States who would've kept them out of trouble but these two cultural sellouts wanted a foreign stud from Australia, instead. Lust is a deadly sin and these two dickwits get exactly what they asked for: An Australian douchebag who lays on the romantic accent and Versace wardrobe just long enough to get them into bed and smuggle HIS dope in THEIR carry-on bag; I love the premise but I'm totally disgusted by the director's blatant disrespect for the Thai people and their culture.
