It was Mater that ruined it for me. And it lacked "the heart"of a Pixar movie I wasn't prepared for that. I was basically watching a violent spy movie but with cars and a stupid lead character. And it was trying to put in a lot of political issues from what I noticed.. My little sister was lost trying to catch up and I was disturbed by all the car violence in a "G" movie. It wasn't horrid. I'll be honest... I've steered clear of Cars 2 for a long time because I believed the reviews. And I'm a discerning Disney fan too. I'd also like to think I have good taste; the fact that the Nostalgia Critic likes a lot of the movies that I do says a lot. So I'll say it: I don't think Cars 2 is bad, not by any measure. It may not be the best Pixar film, but by no stretch is it a bad film, not at all. If you're still wary about it, check it out. It's not a bad film at all. - @Thursday, July 19, 2012 5:47 AM
