It was fucking creepy from the beginning. The atmosphere was realistic and just plain creepy. some reviewers didn't like the characters' behavior because they were being unreasonably hostile towards the "others," but I totally understood their motivations. I won't really blame the people pointing fingers at how the trailer is pathetic....but guys, seriously? When the whole goddamn movie itself was a mindfucking one, do you expect a person will understand anything at all just from the trailer ? The movie is of such a nature that It's like, pick up any scenes from the movie and put it in the trailer, it'll make no difference if you were to put some other scenes in place of that scene. Coherence = One of the most boring films at all. Bla bla bla - family man dialogues with housewives - zero suspense - zero intelligence - zero action - all happens (whatever that should be) more or less in one room. Super low budget with no skills at all. Cheap actors especially the bitches obviously fucked with the producer to get the boring roles. i'll prob be viewing this shortly, but just wanted to add that although not as frenzied as this movie sounds to be, the concept judging from comments is that idealistically it shares a lot of common themes w/ Brit Marlings movie titled Another Earth. def recommend that one was well... low budget, high concept sci fi with cosmic events setting things in motion and the concept of alternate realities/two versions of oneself. The reason why everything went wrong is because they dont stick together as a team: they always fight each other and never come to an agreement before decide anything, everybody just speak their own mind and make their own decision without actually discuss with the rest of the group. Heck they dont even focus on the main problem, i mean some people actually went for a nap??? then some also drinking and flirting/cheating with each other like there's not enough problems already. What pissed me the most off is this one guy who's stupid af but always wanna go fight, cant he think that if he goes to the other house and kills everybody there, then the Mike in the other will also come here and kill everybody here?? And when they find out that people from the other house are also themself but from another reality, then why dont they just stay inside??? If they stay inside then the other group will also stay in their home and none of this would happens, heck from the beginning a guy's brother already told them to stay inside, but nooo they had to go out and explore.
