Chris Sarandon had the charm and charisma to perfectly play Jerry Dandridge but was terrifying when he needed to be. That was the point of blending in to a society that doesn't believe in vampires. Colin Farrell came off as a greasy unlikeable thug. - @Monday, October 9, 2017 6:09 AM

Honestly, this film was good. Of course it can't be compared to the original, but as a vampire movie this has got to be one of the best. the best things is that they kept the horror comedy aspect from the original, they made it different from the original so its a new take on it, has a very awesome opening, and the villian was terrifying. the only things that I didn't liked about the film was that sometimes the CGI didn't looked great and at times they force the 3D effect even when it's unnecessary.
