About the deleted scenes involving the supermarket and the witches giving out candy. In the original cut, it wasn't just Sarah's singing that hypnotized young children. It was Candy Crows that the witches would give to unsuspecting kids. They would act as a catalyst. So we have: Supermarket scene, ToT scene, and pool scene. I read that you can notice the pool scene was taken out last minute because on the oven scene at school (je veux mon livre ;)) they appear to have wet hair; that's because the pool scene ocurred at the school. I also read that what Mary is taking at the supermarket is "baby oil", thinking it is ACTUAL oil made out of babies. Genius movie, isn't it? No wonder it became CULT. They should have a special edition of this movie maybe as an anniversary edition. This movie will be 25 yrs old this yr. And they should show these deleted scenes. I was Sarah for Halloween last year because she was my favorite witch & I saw that Spirit Halloween had new Hocus Pocus costumes & decorations so I got them. My roommates & I love this movie.
