"No stimulus money should go to White Male Construction Workers" ~ Robert Third Reich 2009 - @Tuesday, December 4, 2018 2:17 AM

John Hall
Being "poor" in the U.S. is predictably the result of a sociological pathology for that individual or individuals; mental illness, alcoholism, drug dependence, etc., which keeps people from getting or holding onto real jobs. Consequently, being poor in America is not so much an economic issue as it is behavioral one. - @Saturday, August 25, 2018 6:12 PM

Great film, educative, gives perspective of the big picture, unbiased, excellent explanations and brings clear ways to solve these problems. - @Saturday, December 9, 2017 12:13 AM

Much of what he has to say are the very same words I heard from Trump supporters. He is not telling you anything more than you already know. Lobbyists seem to be the main problem with the money they pour into our political system. This has lead to wide spread corruption within both parties. Why do you think they stay in politics till they are ready to die? Sure isn’t for the people. I think I can see some big changes coming, they ALL need to be held accountable! - @Monday, December 4, 2017 5:31 PM

I will be writing a review on the movie Inequality for All. The movie stars Robert Reich, former secretary of labor for the Clinton administration. He goes deeply into the causation of the income inequality gap in America. He explains each factor in great detail, without any bias input, considering the man is worth way more than any of the labor workers he is fighting for. He believes the greed of filthy rich CEO’s, unfair tax policies for the wealthy, excessive use of technological advances, and etc. need to change in order to help the 99% of the U.S. population which is average working Americans. If there isn’t a change, then the economy will suffer and the middle class as we know it will become extinct. This film had a Michael Moore feel to it, even though it was not a major democratic point of view, it still expressed concern for the United States and the average working Joe’s like a Michael Moore film might do. It was an eye opening movie and helped me become more aware of what is happening in the workforce as of late. - @Sunday, May 21, 2017 4:16 AM

Socialist crap that has been debunked over a MILLION TIMES. Read the "comments" to get a sense of the level of awareness - more like lack thereof - these liberal idiots display. Completely STUPID piece of filmwork. I mean he's saying that we punish the rich for working hard and having money?? And that we need to reward the degenerates that wanted to screw around in school because now that they are adults they are living retards???? - @Wednesday, March 2, 2016 11:06 PM

I dunno...Maybe he does actually care? Or maybe he is strictly trying to make some cash off of his name recognition, and from his lectures and books by choosing a socially relevant topic? Just can never know these days. - @Tuesday, February 23, 2016 11:14 PM

Everything this guy mentioned in this documentary seemed like common sense yet the sadly, nothing will likely to change. 0.1% that is running the show would not allow it. - @Friday, January 23, 2015 9:20 AM

One of the most important & timely documentaries of late. Mr. Reich is an American hero & patriot. He shines a light on the inner workings of a complex & diverse economy & how those at the top of said economy seek to manipulate political & financial institutions in an attempt to accrue an even bigger share of America's economic pie. A must-see for all freethinkers. - @Tuesday, January 6, 2015 4:56 AM

OverlordSlayer
The documentary about stating the obvious. There has never been any equality. Equality among people is just made up by communists to make people feel less secure about themselves and force their false demand on their countries. If you are poor, there is a reason for it. No one is bound to be poor or homeless unless he really works towards such effect. In my country there is a saying: "Why are you poor? Because you're stupid". - @Wednesday, December 24, 2014 10:39 AM

A twist on an otherwise perfect fairytale
people think that the rich take advantage of there money but not all of them do....every Christmas my family and i donate over 10 thousand dollars towards kids in Africa in need. so no we are not all taking advantage of our money - @Thursday, November 13, 2014 5:51 PM

There should be a warning to viewers not to watch if you have an IQ over 80, or are older than seventeen.  This is classic Trotskyist hate and envy of the successful, as opposed to instruction on how to be successful yourself.  UC Berkeley pays this guy $280K a year and he teaches only one class.  Of course, he can only preach this stuff to the young because adults laugh him off the stage. - @Monday, October 6, 2014 1:43 AM

It seems that a lot of people want that someone else would give them a job, a paycheck, a house, income, retirement. No one wants to work. They don't want to take their own bullet. Why don't they start their own company like most of the so claimed 1%. And all that bullshit about working hard for 70 hours a week is just stupid. The most CEO's of big companies work for 80-100 hours a week. No weekends, no holidays. Because in that situation even if you get hit by a car, you don't die. Man up. Nobody cares about you and nobody should. Everyone is pursuing his own interest including you. That is the human nature. - @Sunday, May 25, 2014 8:50 AM

It's funny watching the students in the documentary. He totally mind fucked them, I remember this one chick who was staring at him like a zombie she was so concentrated and reeled in on what he had to say. Oh if only all of Americans could see it. - @Sunday, April 20, 2014 5:52 AM

I have worked all my life, and over the last 20 years I have lost my paid holidays, paid vacations, and a lot of my benefits. Those were all taken from me during recessions - so the company could "stay competitive". When the media told me the economy was recovering, I never got my paid time off back (but the CEO and his cronies all got huge bonuses - on top of their large salaries). I am tired of doing more for less. I am tired of the American middle class being eroded into poverty. When are the working people going to start regaining what they've lost? - @Sunday, April 20, 2014 1:25 AM

this was truly the most inspirational documentary i have ever seen. Robert Reich is a genius and one of the greatest men i have ever heard speak. Its a shame these issues are still not improving. I know too many people with college degrees that cannot get a job to even support themselves alone. These CEO's define the word terrorist. They take our money, put it away to gain interest and never recirculate it again unless it is needed for business expenses. meanwhile they mutilate wages, abolish all benefis and lay off any person who has put the time in to earn a good wage because "they cant afford to keep them". what does a working class man have to look forward to nowadays? each individual can make a difference, and things can change. unfortunately with the way our society is i feel we are going to hit rock bottom before any change comes about. i just hope this doesnt get violent when the safety net for every hard working american is gone.. - @Saturday, April 5, 2014 6:35 PM

I'd like a few spoilers: does Reich have a practical fix for the problem? I like pie charts, graphs, and comparisons as much as the next person. It bothers me, though, how the graph of inequality we see at 0:39 shows things getting worse during the years Reich was in a position to make a difference. The time to act is always "now". I'm a fan of his but how does he account for what he did "then," while in D.C. during the Carter and Clinton years? I guess I'm asking: will this film tell me what can be done by tiny little citizens like me? - @Thursday, April 3, 2014 11:29 PM

Watched this and was most disappointed. The whole documentary felt like it was Robert Reich (who seems like a nice guy) showing off his achievements in life. It was a case of "Look who I knew", "Look where I worked", "Look what TV shows I was on" etc ... - @Thursday, February 20, 2014 2:02 AM

the movie is alright, but what they said about clinton was BULLSHIT, he was a total corporatist president just like obama.  clinton: deregulated finance, set up WTO, NAFTA, welfare reform, cant remember what else.  rotten corporatist president.  if your going to vote democrat or republican, make damn well sure your candidate is legit cuz they are mostly working for corporations now.  so yea fuck reich for not being 95% honest. - @Friday, February 14, 2014 1:46 AM

The problem of income inequalities is that while companies continue to profit, the workers are getting paid less and less in proportion. Once many jobs in the manufacturing sector are now subcontracted out to smaller companies, through employment agencies and other countries where workers are unable to unionize. Walk into a typical department store and you'll see how much stuff actually carry the label "Made in USA"... - @Tuesday, February 11, 2014 2:57 AM
