Batman is one of my favorite characters but why on earth is he the one putting the team together? Why not follow the comics and have Madame Xanadu do it? She's an essential element of the team! And what the hell is going on with Black Orchid here? I am really excited for this movie, the JLD comics are some of my all-time favorites and Matt Ryan being back as Constantine is one of the best decisions they made but why couldnt you just use comics material? Compared to other characters of the DC universe, these are not that well known and this movie is an opportunity to introduce them to the mainstream audience, it's a shame their wasting it by not following their true origin story. fuck im pre ordering this. even though its differnt from the comic. still has the same tone of the comic. wish it had less batman. also i like the fact the Constantine knows more than Batman. In the comic Constantine knew every ones secret identities that even through Batman back. really made him feel like he isnt the greatest detective. To everyone complaining about batman's inclusion: be logical. Not everyone has read the comics, so not everyone knows about the justice league dark. The creative team behind the film obviously knows that batman isn't a part of the JLD. Still, I'm pretty sure they want to make a profit on the bluray and DVD releases of the film. The only way to do that is to include a character that mostly everyone is familiar with. A hardcore fan will purchase a JLD film without batman in it, but the casual fan may decide to not purchase it because the film has no characters that they recognize (well… Zatanna, maybe…). Batman's inclusion will allow people who haven't heard of the JLD to get to know the team and share in this awesome story. Be realistic y'all and give the film a chance. The Justice League Dark was a great comic book "Before DC cancelled it " and Now they get a Movie ? this tells pretty much DC comics don't really talk with DC cinematic people, It sounds more like cinematic people just randomly pick up a comic an go "let's make this into a movie" & still call it Justice League, this direct to DVD movie is suppose to stand alone, "like Suicide Squad" which I hope it does. this is an intro for people to get to know most of the characters, plus the fact the DEMON wasn't in the JL-Dark ever, what was wrong in Not using Frankenstein, Black Orchid, And if this is the Story line "In the Dark" the Enchantress should be in this movie - @Sunday, July 31, 2016 1:21 AM

All you people complaining about Batman's involvement apparently don't know comics or business. On the comics side, both Bats and Superman actually helped in putting this group together when they helped Constantine and Zatanna find Swamp Thing. Then when Enchantress defeated the actual Justice League, this group stepped up. On the business side of things, think about this. 1. Batman is money. A movie with Batman will sell. 2. The casual comic book fan won't know any of the other characters, so putting in arguably the most popular hero of all time is a no brainer. Batman's in this film. The logic is solid.
