It might have been because I saw the original not knowing much about the story, but in this version there were no "Where the hell are they taking me with this story" moments that made the French film actually rather memorable and in some cases rather sad. Same old Americanized shit. 99% males slaughtered in it. And killed by a female to feed the drooling fan boys who love seeing scenes of a female killing males. Feeding their fetish. The French version had women in those situations. A male and female doing the torturing. A male and female bodyguard. But in this version it HAS to be almost all males shown killed. They just toss in even more males just to up the male body count.Every single Asian or European the Americans get hold of they treat the same way.
