There will be-as there always is-loyalist outrage in regards to this. This is part of an effort for them to ignore the fact that their contribution to fighting the IRA was nonexistant; the loyalists killed more civilians than the republicans in the Troubles and the loyalists killed almost exclusively civilians. The Brits are the ones who infiltrated the IRA up the ass and shafted them into peace, but hot damn if this escape wasn't an incredible feat by those involved.
