As much as I loved Julia in Steel Magnolias... why? They could have picked a different actress... why did it have to be her? Am I the only one that doesn't think she... fits in this film? - @Tuesday, July 17, 2018 7:20 AM

I can't believe the budget on this movie was €25 million and it only made €27.5 million back at the box office this is a classic movie about Irish history and how we fucked the English over after 700 years of them doing it to use the Irish people. Of Michael Collins was still alive today he would be disgusted with the way the Irish people and country has turn out to be after him getting are independence and freedom from the English. And I can't believe that we has an American as president and taoisecht - @Wednesday, May 23, 2018 7:27 PM

What a shit trailer - no dialogue! You can just imagine some thick as shit LA marketing wonk working at WB in the 90s choking on their croissandwich at the first cut 'I don't understand what they're saying, take out the dialogue. And get me another intern to sexually harrass.' - @Monday, February 5, 2018 8:44 PM

What hero Micheal Collins was shame retarded Brits didn't grant home rule on chicken out after Loyalist cried lie little children moaning how lives were going become more shit would become threatened civl war. On 18th November 1918 the day points WW1 needed when like promised instead partitioned Ireland because some racists sectarian  unionists couldn't handle reality that Ireland wanted independence Edward Carson unionist British hero great Irishman exiled to Britain never to return beloved Ireland bit like Hitler alone in he bunker exiled ready to commit sucide wonder did Carson do that. So glad Edward Carson died alone in England in he beloved Britain also another island he loved. - @Tuesday, May 12, 2015 9:49 PM

I am related to this man (Collins, not Neeson) and I just wanted to know if this movie is historically accurate and they didn't leave out/oversimplify the life of Collins. This is very important to me. - @Friday, July 18, 2014 7:29 PM

What violin? Sounds like the Uilleann pipes being played by Davy Spillane if I’m not much mistaken. - @Wednesday, September 4, 2013 8:32 PM

Anyone know that fast violin music at the start of the video? - @Monday, September 2, 2013 10:53 AM

And if that’s was a reply to my previous comment then… I do dare to say otherwise? Why? Because it’s not a matter of opinion or conjecture…It’s a simple matter of fact! You can try and re-write history all you like, just like the film did... but it don’t make it a fact - @Wednesday, August 28, 2013 8:11 PM

skippership7
I take it from your “rant” that you are also in favour of 3529/4... is that correct? - @Monday, August 26, 2013 1:31 PM

So much for all this…“I am not going to run away because the Irish are tough and i will continue until you as the English back down” ..So… where are you now son? Either answer the question or be a man and apologise…Not to me, but to your Republican Brothers and Sisters like The MacSwiney’s, O'Higgins, Stack, Brugha, the Countess and the thousands of others who made a stand and who continued to make a stand in the north against article 4 over the past 90 years! - @Monday, August 12, 2013 7:55 PM

when you call a man out the way you have seems to me you must have a good reason for doing that>now>ya man here has asked a question and it would be rude not to give him the answer>i just hope you know your history and are not left looking like a feckin eejit>besides i am curious to know the answer as well> - @Saturday, August 10, 2013 8:00 AM

skippership7
Just how do you magically turn 58% into 100%, who are you, bloody Einstein?... explain that calculation to me then? And…You say... “Yes N Ireland”... What? 3529/4 has nothing to do with NI whatsoever by definition, what planet are you on? I think you are confusing 3529/4 with something else…So… just so there is no confusion here... quote me the first line of 3529/4 …I’ll give you a clue, it starts with “The”…. now over to you to complete... - @Thursday, August 8, 2013 8:44 PM

Eoghain10
yes! N Ireland but he only did that to free the rest of Ireland and you said why does that not you mean that does not you numpty?lets end this the republic of Ireland agrees with me not with you. let us as Ireland and England end this and stop. - @Thursday, August 8, 2013 4:00 PM

skippership7
What I am clearly saying is, that Mick should never have agreed to 3529/4, why does that not make him an Irish hero.... you numpty? Do you actually know what 3529/4 is? - @Wednesday, August 7, 2013 8:16 AM

Eoghain10
what do you want me to say that mick is not a Irish hero i will never say that and i am not going to run away because the Irish are tough and i will continue until you as the English not saying you are English back down so beannacht or as you say goodbye - @Sunday, August 4, 2013 9:09 AM
