It makes me cry that Michael isn't here to see how well people remember him - the man had to die for the media to stop harassing him and just see his MUSIC. That's all he ever wanted people to judge him for, the music he gave to the world. Not his surgeries, his children, his wifes, his skin - THAT IS HIS PERSONAL LIFE, and no matter what the truth is it doesn't matter at all. So what if he had surgeries to his face, WHO FUCKING CARES!? He's an artist, and he should have been judged for his music from the very start and nothing else. - @Wednesday, July 18, 2018 7:09 PM

He should have did these in order. OTW then Thriller then Bad - @Saturday, July 14, 2018 6:28 PM

Big up to Spike for this, I was just being born when the Triumph Tour was going on, felt so good to see Michael live with his brothers killing it on stage, what a honor it would have been to just have that ticket as a souvenir for life...Michael was the most important person to walk the face of the earth after God, human beings of his existence don't even EXIST and if they do they are extremely RARE..he and his brother brought joy, love, and hope to young black kids especially SOUND OF YOUNG AMERICA...their hard work, persistence, gift, and the stern hands and observation of Papa Joe made it all possible... Michael was music, he was a perfectionist which was natural to him, never satisfied with anything typical VIRGO...his music, videos, iconic leather jackets was THE ULTIMATE POP ICONof the 80s.....he took the world by storm with THRILLER.. Nothing came close..I remember 1983-84 season OMG..I never in my life saw someone who took over the world like MICHAEL JACKSON, he was larger than life, lunchbox, stickers, buttons, doll, 8grammys, AMAs, Guinness Book of World records, VICTORY TOUR, Pepsi Generation Commercial, MAKING OF THRILLER, best EVER music home video, I mean I can go on and on which musical artist yesterday and today even got much luv than that?....I miss him so daily as I do my Dad cause he introduced me to the world of Michael.. Two Virgos I truly love and miss daily and deeply😢🙏 - @Wednesday, November 8, 2017 1:06 AM

Next Please
They should definitely do HIStory and Dangerous and Invincible because the music has nothing to do with his personal life... having watched the other two documentary I've found they are purely concerned with how he put his music together... they didn't mention the huge battle with the Jackson 5 name (when they moved to Epic) or about all the crap he was already being called in Bad.. so it wouldn't be that difficult to do Dangerous (especially) because he was already being accused of having too many surgeries and 'trying to be white' - @Saturday, June 3, 2017 1:33 PM

I really admire how Spike Lee will take the "lesser" popular albums (No disrespect or insult, but rather in the scale of how big Thriller was) and explore them and go into depth with them. I would really love to see a Thriller Doc next made from him! - @Saturday, May 27, 2017 12:43 AM

michael jackson roots of music is in off the wall. and ofcourse all of the jacksons albums. i will never ever single out michael, because his brothers were very talented and when he started going solo after victory his music went away from the soul and r& b. should have made more jacksons albums w brothers until his death. - @Friday, April 14, 2017 4:50 AM

I'll never understand why artists like justin bieber, kanye west, the weeknd were invited to do these documentarys and not Bruno Mars, he's clearly the closest thing this generation will ever have of real and complete talent - @Tuesday, April 4, 2017 2:17 PM

There are hardly any decent documentaries about Michael Jackson. Go online. You will see many documentaries about the Rolling Stones or the Beach Boys or Elvis. Seriously? Michael was the greatest entertainer we have ever seen and a great humanitarian. Where are the documentaries? I am waiting. - @Sunday, January 29, 2017 8:21 AM

Pause at 1:08 That's what makes me think he didn't have as much plastic surgery as people may say. Looks just like Bad Era, and this was 8 years previous to then. I've seen pics of him where he practically looks the same, just lighter. Skin tone can make someone look pretty different. Of course he's had plastic surgery, he's admitted having a nose job and a cleft, but if you look closely sometimes, he seems to look EXACTLY the same: same smile and everything. - @Thursday, January 12, 2017 4:20 AM
