At Phoenix Progressive School, where everyone tries to outdo each other with creative self-expression, 16-year-old Molly Maxwell (Lola Tash) would rather be invisible than risk revealing herself as completely ordinary. When her young, handsome, disillusioned English teacher (Charlie Carrick) enters the picture and allows her to just be herself, Molly is suddenly able to flourish. SPOILER ALERT! It's only my opinion but this movie was really wrong. I loved the style of this movie and it also showed good things but also a lot and lot of bad. I know that Molly had age of consent and the teacher was not aware of what he was doing but at the end he did like blame her of what he was doing! And Molly started to lie to her parents and friends just because of this stupid asshole! I wish at the end that Molly would be more aware of the fault she did rather than be so 'but I was in love!!!' Kind of bullshit. I get it, this is just the teenage love and she didn't knew what she was doing but at the end even her freaking mother let that poor girl go out because her daughter was in love with her teacher and she was just a kid? Imo this movie has amazing cinematogaphy. Molly's school and parents were really cool, she had the high school experience I wish I had. I absolutely enjoyed this movie,i love this idea of a student falling in love with her teacher!The story was so real and i loved the camera perspectives and that it wasnt made like an typical american movie,the story was somehow telled in a different way.So beautiful and emotional! I wish there would be more movies like that!
