This movie is about a young orphan girl who just happens to come across a hypnotizing book. She hypnotizes her way onto a London show and becomes rich and famous. But she loses her best friend due to her lack of attention yowards him. And a man also wants her book. He tracks her all the way to London and takes her dog. In order to get it back, she must help him steal the plunder from some robbers just after they robbed the richest bank in London of all its jewels.

Molly Moon is the only book that has really stuck in my memory. I loved it, and I've been thinking about this book from time to time, and how I want to read it to my daugther once she get's old enough to sit still and actually listen. Yesterday, I suddenly thought of Molly Moon again, and decided to google her, to see where I could buy the book and get it shipped. Then I saw there was a MOVIE!! Oh lawd, hold my keys! Had to watch it immediately. But shit this sucks. Someone PLEASE! Give Molly Moon a second chance to show what she really is about! This movie must've been a huge disapointment to the author. And petula is supposed to be so fat she can barely walk, from all the crackers she's eaten!! Seems like they just skimmed the book through, had a 200$ bugdet and just went for it.
