Okay so I'm officially weirded out. I was channel flicking and something made me stop and watch this movie on TV tonight. I literally loved this movie, the cast and story line is so compelling that throughout it I kind of felt something. Then, I googled it. It turns out this is a movie that a girl I used to causally date and see in 2013 wanted to go and see, she wouldn't stop talking about it and I completely ignored it. I eventually made the mistake of moving away and never going after her and now she's moved countries.. Love the atmosphere and although the ending is not original it still is a real good twist that makes the final moments of the movie memorable. Also the book is really good too even when we know the ending because of seeing the movie first. One of my favorite american love stories of recent years because it reminds me a lot of the best we usually see in the genre but from the outstanding south korean or japanese love stories, which always have a great twist at the end.
