I love the beginning when she finds a job and she gets 650 dollars per week and she's so happy and you can see the happiness in her eyes. I just wish all good people would get money and evil people would be homeless. If i had billions i would help and give people chance for a good life, it is really sad to see so many billionaires who only care about themselves and their castle and 25 cars... I wish would would be different. There are so many people who would need just a fraction of what others have so they can study or pay rent and others loose 100 000 and don't even realize that happened. I work and worked for years and it's so nice when i can by some puma sneakers after months of working hard and i still cannot pay for my dream of learning sound engineering . That's how life is i guess. I love Adam in this film. There are lots of small moments that resonate nicely with each character, even Deborah Clasky - but that character is over the top and hard to take - thank goodness the grandmother's influence is strong, finally. The kids are excellent in their roles. I especially love that there was no consummation of the love between Flor and John - that hardly ever happens but shows their moral courage and his faithful heart. Flor me parece una persona despreciable. Sus jefes le ofrecen una habitación en su propia casa (con lo cual Flor ahorra gasto en transporte al lugar de trabajo y desconozco si también el alquiler), se ofrecen a pagar la matrícula de su hija en una escuela privada y no le exigen dominar el inglés desde el primer día para ocupar el empleo. Una empleada doméstica normal se sentiría agradecida con semejante generosidad, pero en lugar de ello Flor no para de protestar contra sus jefes por las atenciones que dispensan hacia su hija.
